After miraculously recovering from a bullet wound to the head, Gulf War veteran Jack Starks (Adrien Brody) returns to Vermont suffering from amnesia. He is accused of murdering a police officer, and is incarcerated in a mental institution in the year 1992.

In the ward, Starks becomes subject to the experiments of Dr. Thomas Becker (Kris Kristofferson), a psychiatrist. Starks is injected with an experimental drug and put into a straitjacket; he is then locked in a morgue drawer. While in this condition, Jack's mind sends him into the future of the closing week of 2007, where among other things he discovers that he is destined to die in four days from his first incarcaration in the drawer in 1992.

The film premiered on 9 September 2007 at the Toronto International Film Festival. It opened in wide release in the United States and Canada on 12 October 2007. It premiered in London on 23 October 2007 and is on general release from 2 November 2007 throughout the rest of the UK and Republic of Ireland.

Glazer and written by Trace Slobotkin. The cast includes Jamie Kennedy, Bobby Lee, Maria Menounos, Michael Rosenbaum, and Vivica A. Fox. This movie was released on April 27, 2007 and grossed just 2.49 million in that opening weekend. The movie is about a young breakdancer who hits his head during a talent show and slips into a coma for twenty years. Waking up in 2006 (without knowing everything has gone updated throughout the years during his coma), he looks to revive his and his team's career with the help of his girlfriend and his parents. In the movie, the character Kip is onstage and shouts "You're all slaves. How many of you even know you're alive?" This is a reference to Oliver Stone's movie, The Doors as the Jim Morrison character played by Val Kilmer shouts, "You're all a bunch of fuckin' slaves...How many of you people know you're alive?"

The main theme of the movie is 80's Breakdance an has a link to the 1984 movie Breakin, from which 2 cast members were involved. Christopher McDonald playing the father and Shabba Doo as the Dance consultant for the movie.

The movie begins in 1985 in a flashback scene where Chuck (played by child actor Connor Price) refused to kiss a goth girl when he was ten years old, she placed a curse on him: every single woman he sleeps with will break up with him and marry the next man she meets.

Chuck, nowin his thirties (Dane Cook) and running a dentist practice in the same building as his best friend Stu (Dan Fogler) who works as a plastic surgeon, Chuck finds himself unable to tell girls he loves them. This leads to an eventual breakup, but soon leads to his ex-girlfriend getting married. At one such wedding, Chuck becomes enamored with Cam Wexler (Jessica Alba), a sometimes clumsy girl who nevertheless appears quite friendly. Chuck tries to ask Cam out on a date, but she gently refuses him.
