 28 Days Later is a 2002 British post-apocalyptic science fiction horror film directed by Danny Boyle and starring Cillian Murphy, Naomie Harris and Christopher Eccleston. Set in a near future England, the story depicts the breakdown of society following the accidental release of a highly contagious virus known as "Rage" (which renders people mindlessly violent) and focuses upon the struggle of four survivors to cope with the ruination of the life they once knew. A critical and commercial success, the film is widely recognized for images of a deserted London, and was shot almost entirely on digital video.  Ocean's Thirteen is a 2007 film directed by Steven Soderbergh and starring an ensemble cast. It is the third (and reportedly final) in the Soderbergh series following the 2004 sequel Ocean's Twelve and the 2001 film Ocean's Eleven, which itself was a remake of the 1960 Rat Pack film Ocean's Eleven. The latter was highly influenced by Jean-Pierre Melville's Bob le Flambeur (1955). All of the cast members reprised their roles from the previous installments except for Julia Roberts and Catherine Zeta-Jones. Al Pacino and Ellen Barkin joined the cast as their new targets.
For me, it's the worst Hollwood movie of the year. So don't complain to me if you watch the film;)

 Rise: Blood Hunter is a 2007 horror/thriller film directed by Sebastian Gutierrez. It is a Paramount Pictures release. Rise is a supernatural thriller in which a reporter (Liu) wakes up in a morgue to discover she is no longer among the living. She vows revenge against the cult responsible for putting her there and hunts them down one by one. Chiklis plays "Rawlins," a haunted police detective whose daughter is killed by the same cult and seeks answers for her gruesome death.

 Independence Day (also known as its promotional abbreviation ID4) is an Academy Award winning science fiction film directed by Roland Emmerich. The film's main plot is about an attempted alien invasion of Earth, and features several scenes of major landmarks being destroyed by the aliens, such as the White House, the Empire State Building, the Statue of Liberty, and the U.S. Bank Tower (then known as the First Interstate World Center) in Los Angeles. The film's success was partially credited to an extensive marketing campaign which began in the United States with a dramatic commercial during Super Bowl XXX. The movie was scheduled for release on July 3, 1996, but due to the high level of anticipation for the film, many theaters began showing it on the evening of July 2, 1996, the same day the action in the film begins. The movie's total worldwide gross was $816,969,268 - the 18th highest worldwide gross for a movie all-time.
 The Ninth Gate is a mystery/thriller film based on the novel The Club Dumas by Arturo Pérez-Reverte. It was co-written and directed by Roman Polanski, and stars Johnny Depp as a rare books-dealer who is hired by rich book collector (Frank Langella) to validate his recently purchased copy of The Nine Gates of the Kingdom of Shadows by 17th century author Aristide Torchia. The film premiered in Spain on August 25, 1999 and was a critical and commercial failure in North America, but managed to turn a profit with a worldwide box office gross of $58,401,898. It has since enjoyed a small cult following.
 A quadriplegic ex-forensics expert, Lincoln Rhyme (played by Denzel Washington) and a rookie patrol cop, Amelia Donaghy (Angelina Jolie), team up to solve a string of murders all related in one method: A single shard of bone is removed from each of the victims. The killer poses as a taxi driver, and abducts and kills those who get in his taxi. The first two victims are a married couple named Alan and Lindsay Rubin, who get a taxi home but then find themselves kidnapped by the killer. Later, Amelia finds Alan's body buried underground. His wife Lindsay is taken into a steam tunnel, with old handcuffs on her and tape across her mouth. She gets handcuffed to a pipe. Rhyme and others try to find out where she is, but they arrive too late. She is scalded from steam and has a bit of flesh removed from her arm. The killer then abducts a NYU student. He is taken to a slaughterhouse where he is tied to a pole and gets gutted with a knife and left for dead, and then eaten by rats. Amelia is able to collect the evidence there. Later, a grandfather and granddaughter are abducted and are tied to a pier. The girl is rescued, but her grandfather dies. Amelia is then able to figure out that the bone collector is after Rhyme. The bone collector arrives at Rhyme's house, and after killing Rhyme's assistant, it is revealed that he is the medical technician who cares for Rhyme's medical equipment. The technician is an ex-forensic cop who wants revenge because in the past, Rhyme's testimony helped convict the killer of planting false evidence at crime scenes. The result is that the killer was brutalized in prison and his life ruined. But Rhyme is saved when the killer is shot by Amelia as he attempts to stab Rhyme. The film ends at a Christmas celebration, with Rhyme's sister and niece coming to visit him.
